Most dangerous Conference headed into March with 8 Top 40 teams, 3 teams in top 10!

Ohio state – The Buckeyes can be spoilers in March, After moving up 5 slots, playing tremendous team basketball. Jacy Sheldon (17.6ppg) has stepped her game up, and along with two other double-digit scorers, in Cottie McMahon (13.9ppg), and Taylor Theirry (12.7ppg) the Buckeyes look as dangerous as any other top team in the country. Rebounding will be key for Buckeyes who although great scoring team at #5 in country, only average 35.9rpg, which is 11th in Big-Ten.

Indiana – If one word at best could describe the Hoosiers, it has to be scary. Like classic Hoosier basketball, they operate with team concept first, individuality second. Four of their starting five have double-digit averages. McKenzie Holmes avg 20.0ppg with Sara Scalia shoots the lights out at 44%3pt avg. 15.9ppg. With all Cylinders working Elite 8 doesn’t sound far fetched. 80ppg; 62.3oppg; Margin -18; 39% 3pt (2nd in Big Ten)

Iowa  The Hawkeyes are shooting 50% from the field, while holding opponents to 38%. The biggest overall threat is avg. C. Clark 32ppg, shooting 40% from 3pt, and Sophomore Hannah Stuelke (12.6ppg) who can be big on the blocks for the Hawkeyes. The team avg. 91ppg while holding their opponents to 67.5ppg, a margin of 23.5 amongst highest in NCAA.

Penn State,

Illionis – Came into the season worthy of top 25 rankings. Preseason honors for guard Makira Cook, added frontcourt height with senior transfer Camille Hobby(9.0ppg) who has been a positive light, but however the fighting Illini have stayed at sub-par level this year with 2 seniors, and 1 junior. 74.3ppg, 64.9oppg Margin of 9.5pts; 46% from field; 22%3pt second worst in Big-Ten.
